I am still learning, and yet, I have started to forget already. There will never be a moment in which I know everything I have learnt. It will always be a compromise between what I can and cannot remember. Culture flows as much as a river, or life, does.
So, why becoming obsessed with that of the past, instead of looking ahead to that of the future?
Because a culture of the future doesn’t seem conceivable a t all without first knowing everything that has been said before.
Life is so endlessly short that it is almost boring.
One life- just one – to learn, to remember, and to produce. Without even having the time to read everything again.
