Goodness, this place looks amazing.

yes, it does, doesn't it?
It's located in my hometown in Italy, it used to be the residency of a prince.
It's normally shut, but they organized a group show in it in 2006, which is when they allowed me to film the interior.

The room lit with dozens of candelabra’s
Filigree, Silver
A chamber orchestra plays
The women dressed, in crimson and absinthe green velvet dresses
Pearls and Diamonds adorn cultured necks
Skin so pale
So slim
So elegant
Awaiting
The Master
He enters
Dressed in Black
Black, curled hair
Falls over
A white winged collar
Black velvet flocked tie
The women gasp
Oscar
As he passes them
On his journey to the centre
Of the room.
He raises a
Heavy, Leaded Glass
Charged with
The Darkest of Red Wines
The Room
Silent
The Women
Look
‘Release the Bats’
He cries
And they are
Devoured.

Nick!
I'll read this every night at midnight till I die and go to hell, or become a ghost.

It's fabulous. Thank you so much.

Oh you are more than welcome Oscar.
I always think it's nice for visual artists to hear what their images conjure in people's minds.
You are the Bat
You are the Night
Thanks for your work and the complement you gave to me.
